Travel to Estoril /
Cascais
The 2004 EET Conference will
be held at the Estoril Congress Centre, Lisbon, Portugal.
Estoril is located at the extreme west of the European continent,
in Portugal.
To reach the Congress Centre or Hotel from the Ariport of
Portela (Lisbon) have 3 options:
1 take the Airport - Estoril/Cascais Shuttle Bus (SCOTTURB)
2 take the Airport – Lisbon Centre Shuttle Bus (AEROBUS)
and then the Estoril/Cascais Railway
3 take a taxi

To arrive
at Estoril you can use the Airport Shuttle Bus, leaving
just outside of the Arrival terminal (besides the
taxi queue) and serves the 2004 EET selected hotels.
Traveltime approximately 45 minutes
This shuttle has
a one-hour frequency (for timetable www.scotturb.com).
The price is 7,50 Euros
and includes a day of free travel on the Scotturb
network (serving the Cascais / Sintra region, see
map). You can also buy a 1 week pass for 17,00 Euro,
with the same privileges |

AEROBUS:
Linking the Airport to downtown Lisbon and Cais do
Sodré (every 20 minutes from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m
– takes some 20 minutes). Step out at the CAIS
DE SODRE RAILWAY STATION (last stop) and get a train
to Estoril/Cascais.
The price is 2,35 €
(one day Lisbon city bus network ticket) and free
for TAP ticket holders (just hand in the boding card
slip). |
ESTORIL / CASCAIS RAILWAY:
The trip takes 30 to
40 minutes, all along the Tagus river and seaside !

Arriving Estoril you can walk
or get a taxi for your hotel.
3 TAXIS:
Available right outside the
Arrival terminal (approximate cost 25,00 € plus 1,5
€ per luggage). This will take you 30 to 40 minutes.
You can also get a Taxi
Voucher for fixed prices. This service is available to passengers
arriving at Lisbon Airport who wish to travel by taxi. The
service operates with vouchers on sale at the Turismo de
Lisboa counter, located in the arrival terminal. The price
of the voucher depends on the distance of the trip or length
of time, as well as on the type of service required: normal
or personalized (in the former, the driver is trained to
speak foreign languages and acts as tourist guide). Contact:

during the day, 35 € and during the night (21h00 -
